K-Pop legends BIGBANG are officially returning to the global stage, marking their 20th anniversary with a massive world tour titled ‘BIGSHOW: REBORN’. YG Entertainment confirmed the long-awaited comeback on March 4, 2026, announcing that the tour will feature members G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. The news, revealed in a strategy announcement video by founder Yang Hyun-suk, has ignited excitement across the global fan community, known as V.I.P.
A Global Celebration: ‘BIGSHOW: REBORN’ Tour Details
According to reports from News18, the ‘BIGSHOW: REBORN’ tour is set to be a generation-defining event, running from summer 2026 through spring 2027. Moving beyond their previous arena tours, this celebration will focus on larger stadium venues. The tour will kick off in Seoul and is confirmed to visit cities across Asia, North America, Europe, and Oceania, including Tokyo, Los Angeles, London, and Sydney. This marks the group’s third major global trek, following their highly successful Alive Tour (2012–13) and Made Tour (2015–16).
New Music and a Coachella Prelude
In addition to the tour, a new mini-album is reportedly in the works, expected to arrive between March and April 2026. The project is said to blend BIGBANG’s signature anthemic sound with modern pop influences. Before the tour officially begins, fans will get a chance to see the group perform at the upcoming Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April, as confirmed by Arirang TV. This performance will serve as a powerful prelude to their full-scale comeback.
A Legacy Continues
Since their debut in 2006, BIGBANG has become one of the most influential acts in K-Pop history, with a string of mega-hits like “LIES,” “HARU HARU,” and “FANTASTIC BABY.” After their last group release, “Still Life,” in April 2022, the members have focused on solo activities but have consistently shown their strong bond. Executive producer Yang Hyun-suk stated, “Fans are missing BIGBANG and their hit songs, and are desiring to see the members perform together again.” This tour promises to be a heartfelt reunion between the group and their dedicated fans worldwide.
