ARIRANG is not just a collection of songs; it’s a project deeply infused with the members’ personal artistry. The group had a very “hands-on approach” in the album’s creation. RM is credited on every track except for an interlude, while SUGA and j-hope contributed to multiple songs, including “Body to Body” and “Merry Go Round.” Jungkook worked on four tracks, including “Hooligan,” with Jimin and V also contributing to several songs, showcasing their growth as songwriters.

The album’s title is derived from the traditional Korean folk song, “Arirang,” a name that holds deep cultural significance and resonates with the group’s current journey.
